MIPRO are European RoHS and WEEE compliant.
RoHS stands for Restricting the use of Hazardous
Substances. This environmental directive requires that
hazardous materials be removed from electrical and
electronic equipment. WEEE is an acronym for Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment. It refers to the
disposal of items such as computers, household
appliances, mobile phones, TVs, printers, fluorescent
tubes and more. WEEE requires that e-waste be recycled. |

Breaking with Tradition,
MIPRO Wireless Systems Were Used during the Vienna
Festival Opening Ceremony 2004
The Vienna Culture Festival is traditionally opened in
the1st week of May each year by an open-air event in
front of Vienna's town hall. Over 45,000 people visited
the opening ceremony this year, while the Austrian TV
network simultaneously did a live broadcast of the
program.
The MIPRO distributor confirmed the 24-channel MIPRO ACT
wireless microphones met the technical specifications
required for that event. "Tucherl" Toegel, Head of
Sound/Vienna Festival Organization was highly pleased
with the sound quality, innovative features and reliable
performance of MIPRO's ACT systems.

Exciting Expansion Plans
The first major expansion of MIPRO's facilities was
completed in 2001. However, due to worldwide acceptance
and demand for our products, another expansion was
needed. MIPRO anticipates this expansion will be
finished in time for the company's10th anniversary and
will double their production volume.
