ACT-82a Dual Channel Encrypted Digital Diversity Receiver New!

How to Set-up Interference-free Compatible Systems for ACT-82a?

  • To set up multi-channel operation, the user must select factory preset channels within the same group.

  • A combination of preset channels under different groups can result in possible interference.

  • If one of the preset channels within the same group experiences interference, try to change to another preset channel. If interference-free channels can’t be found, it is highly recommended to change to another group. If interference persists in all groups, changing to another frequency band may be recommended.

  • For example, when setting with 5D band / Group 1 / Channels 1,2,3,4, and Channel 3 experiences interference, you have to change to Channel 5 or another one in Group 1. If any preset channel in Group 1 still experiences interference, you have to change to Group 2 or another group. If interference persists in all groups, you have to change 5D to 6D.

  • In Group 1~10, each group has 24 factory preset interference-free channels. 1 meters minimum safe distance is needed between the transmitters and the receivers for operation. In Group 11~16, each group has 32 factory preset interference-free channels. 3 meters minimum safe distance is needed between the transmitters and the receivers for operation.

  • For less than 24 interference-free channels, MIPRO recommends in setting up channels from Group 1~10 to ensure the optimal performance.

  • If more than 32 interference-free channels need to be used in the same band, but not required for long-distance reception, then setting up channels from Group 11~16 is recommended. Transmitters need to be set in "low power" mode and keep 3 meters minimum safe distance with receivers.

    NOTE:
The factory preset interference-free channels are designed for MIPRO ACT-82a receivers only.
Do not mix and use simultaneously with wireless microphone systems from other brands.

  • Expanded 120MHz bandwidth for increased preset compatible systems.

  • 24-bit audio quality and true digital RF transmission.

  • Proprietary 128-bit encryption guarantees secure audio transmission, preventing unauthorised listening.

  • Second generation DSP technology enhances signal stability and reduces the risk of signal dropouts during interferences.

  • DigitnamicPlus™ technology eliminates compander noise assuring the original sound quality.

  • Built-in SmartEQ™ preset and user-defined microphone capsule equalisation for faithful reproduction to suit artist's preferences.

  • Digital transmission offers better resistance to interference.

  • Digital transmission quality is constant, therefore S/N ratio will not deteriorate as received signal becomes weaker with distance.

  • Proprietary Audio A/D Converter provides a true dynamic range of 115dBA to eliminate saturation or distortion at higher frequencies under high SPL input conditions.

  • Wordclock in/out facility with activity indicator ensures correct synchronisation with other digital equipment.

  • Full-colour VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) can easily be viewed at distance, at any angle and in day/night environments.

  • All controls are intuitive and easily accessible, allowing for quick and easy system setup via a single rotary controller.

  • Features MIPRO’s patented industry standard AutoScan and ACT (Automatic Channel Targeting) technology for easy, fast channel setup.

  • Receiver provides bias voltage for MIPRO antenna booster systems.

  • Optional MIPRO RCS2.Net software allows real-time network adjustments and monitoring of multiple, large scale systems.

  • Ideal for studio, stage and music performances as well as military, courtroom, conference, boardroom and broadcast applications ~ anywhere audio security and accurate, distortion-free reproduction of the full sound spectrum are required.
