How to Select Between New Wideband and
Existing Systems?

482~626MHz (5UA & 5UB frequency codes) is launched as the
first stage of frequency range for the new wideband to
ensure interference-free, compatibles bands when new and
existing systems are installed at the same venue.

Frequency codes 6UA & 7UA, which is over 626-790MHz will be
introduced in second stage as some of the frequencies
over-lapped between the new and existing systems.

The preset compatible channels between new and existing
systems cannot be used simultaneously at the same installed
venue. For example, do not mix new 7UA and existing 7D
channels. It is recommended to use the new 5UA band if
increased preset compatible channels are needed for the
24MHz system. Select stage 2 frequency channels if more
preset compatible channels are needed. Avoid the overlapping
bands 6A, 6B, 6C, 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D if new and existing systems
will be mixed.

The ACT channel sync function works only between new
wideband receiver (ACT-717a/727a/747a) and its matching new
wideband ACT-7Ha handheld or 7Ta bodypack transmitter.

New wideband transmitter has an expanded 36MHz bandwidth and
new wideband receiver has expanded 72MHz bandwidth. Thus,
each receiver will be able to channel sync two consecutive
transmitter bands. For example, a 5UA band receiver will
channel sync with both 5UA1 and 5UA2 band transmitters.

MIPRO introduces the new wideband systems and will not
phased-out the existing 24MHz systems. Use the wideband
systems if more preset compatible channels are needed.

MIPRO recommends do not mix the existing with new systems to
avoid compatibility and potential interference issues.
