A Labour of Love With MIPRO

 

Singapore: MIPRO's wireless systems utilized in Young National Trade Union Congress's first ever musical - "A Labour of Love".

The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), also known as the Singapore National Trades Union Congress (SNTUC), is the sole national trade union centre in Singapore.

This contemporary pop musical which explores love, friendship and camaraderie of unsung heroes who took up the challenge of trade union work is performed by a cast of 27, all members of the performing arts arm of Young National Trade Union Congress, to celebrate Labour Day.

Through this musical, Young NTUC hopes to reach out to Singaporeans on the values of the Labour Movement and its aspirations to help all workers at work, live and play.


In terms of pro audio equipment, MIPRO wireless microphone systems were selected for this musical, including 6sets of ACT-707 UHF four-channel true diversity receiver coupled with 24pcs of ACT-707TM body pack transmitters and MU-55HNS sweat proof headworn microphones, plus 2 sets of AD-707 UHF 4-Channel Antenna Divider system, 4pcs of AT-70 UHF Ground Plane Antenna, and 4pcs of AT-70B UHF Antenna Signal Boosters to enhance reception quality.


Bob Wong, Director/Sound Engineer, Audio Image Engineering, has been in the audio business for more than 20 years, providing sound design and audio engineering consultation services for theatre productions, corporate, government and church events in Singapore and Australasia. As a sound engineer, Bob is very astute in his choice of wireless microphone systems for his projects.
