How to install and position receiver to obtain the optimum reception
The antenna position influences closely with the receiver reception ability. Thus, special attention is needed to provide correct installation and placement. The most important rule is to minimize the distance between the receiver and the microphone, keep it line-of-sight (no objects standing between the receiver and microphone) and to elevate and position the antenna higher above the ground. To achieve better reception, install the receiver at least one meter above the floor and not surround it with metal objects or concrete walls. Furthermore, place the receiver away from external RF interference sources such as computers, motorized lighting & vehicles, electrical power equipment, etc. Adjust the antenna position during a walk sound check if needed. Using accessories (VHF AT-20 or UHF AT-80 extension antenna with booster) greatly enhances reception performance.
