Dan Stewart & Pure Gospel Artist

Dan Stewart has been singing for the Lord for over 53 years. Currently with the Group Dan Stewart & Pure Gospel, Dan started in a little church at the age of seven.

Later in life he sang with my family, The Stewart Family. At the age of 13 Dan wrote his first gospel song, "Tell the Angels I'm on My Way", which was published and recorded by Governor Jimmy Davis of Baton Rouge. Dan has had the pleasure of working with such groups as the "Statemen", "The Oak Ridge Boys", "Loretta Lynn", the "Goodman's", the "Hinson's", and the "Weatherfords". Dan Stewart has a favorite saying, "We believe in what we are singing and we sing in what we believe!".
