The China International Exhibition Center in Beijing once again played host to the 14th presentation of CALM EXPO 2005.
CALM is China's largest and most established technology event for the entertainment, pro audio and light, music, trussing and staging, installation and AV industry.


The show was held from May 31 ~ June 3. This year it had over 1,200 exhibitors from 40 different countries and over 90,000 buyers from 60 countries in attendance, making another record-breaking year!

The MIPRO booth was hosted by MIPRO’s China office and its 20 enthusiastic staff in Hall 8. This fantastic location had a booth size of 90 square meters, which was the largest ever. The big, bold colorful booth was filled with an array of new and innovative wireless microphone products. Business was brisk and traffic was heavy with many current dealers, the simply curious and serious buyers. 64 channels of the acclaimed ACT-707S and 36 channels of MR-823D wireless systems were showcased prominently together with two giant plasma TVs. A local TV station made a brief report on the booth activities in the evening news.
The popularity of MIPRO wireless has proliferated in China the past several years, especially the ACT-series. Over 5,000 catalogs and tote bags were distributed in the first two days alone.
