MIPRO has implemented a smoke-free environment policy for the past few years due to management commitment to healthy working facilities for all workers and visitors.

Medical information has mounted regarding the impact and hazards of primary and secondary smoke on both smokers and non-smokers. Educational seminars were held to stress the health risks involved for them, their families and their friends.
Consequently, a total of 13 employees have successfully quit smoking since the campaign started.

As a side note, one of the 13 employees was recently
married after previously proposing a few times to his
fiancee unsuccessfully.
