1995

  • MIPRO ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. was founded in Chiayi, Taiwan, specializing in wireless microphones and portable PA systems.
  • Leading the industry, MIPRO introduced the MA-101 wireless megaphone and the MA-707 wireless portable PA featuring a retractable handle and trolley wheels.

1997

  • Completed the first phase of the headquarters in Chiayi, laying the foundation for modern manufacturing.
  • MIPRO participated in the Berlin and Singapore International Sound Exhibitions for the first time.

1998

  • MIPRO achieved ISO 9001 quality certification.
  • MIPRO participated in the Prolight + Sound for the first time.

1999

  • The MR-812 wireless system won the inaugural "Taiwan Excellence Award".

2000

  • MIPRO introduced the world’s first ACT (Auto Channel Targeting) function and launched the ACT-7 series multi-channel system.

2001

  • Completed the expansion of the headquarters facilities in Chiayi, further strengthening manufacturing capabilities and operational capacity.

2005 – 2009

  • MIPRO launched the MA-808 flagship portable PA and Taiwan’s first UHF true digital wireless microphone system, the ACT-8 series.
  • Completed the third phase of the headquarters expansion, doubling production capacity and establishing standardized quality assurance facilities.
  • The ACT series was repeatedly nominated for the US TEC Award.

2010

  • MIPRO granted exclusive distribution rights to a Chinese agent and actively expanded into the Greater China market.

2012

  • The industry’s first UHF wideband true digital wireless microphone system, ACT-828/818, was launched.
  • The Chairman was honored with the "National Executive Manager Award".
  • MIPRO received the Taiwan "National Invention and Creation Award".

2013

  • MIPRO completed a technology transfer with RET Electronics Co., Ltd. in Japan and began manufacturing its own condenser microphone capsules.
  • MIPRO was awarded the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ "Rising Star Award".

2014 – 2016

  • Exclusive distribution rights were granted to agents in Germany and South Korea.
  • MIPRO’s products won the Red Dot Design Award and Taiwan Excellence Award.

2017 – 2020

  • MIPRO's innovative products won multiple iF Design Awards and Red Dot Design Awards, gaining international recognition for design excellence.
  • MIPRO also achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification.

2021

  • MIPRO honors the legacy of Founder K.C. Chang. The company transitions to second-generation leadership, continuing its commitment to innovation and global market expansion.

2022

  • The ACT-848 and MA-300D products garnered multiple international design awards.

2023

  • MIPRO received the "Dun & Bradstreet Annual Enterprise MVP Award".

2025

  • Achieved ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory verification.
